Nagoya is an area where coffee shop culture is flourishing, and among them, "Mountain" is a very famous coffee shop. "Mountain" is in Showa Ward, 8 minutes on foot from Yagoto Nisseki Station on the Meijo Line and 10 minutes on foot from Irinaka Station on the Tsurumai Line. It may be a little unfamiliar to short-stay business people who have errands around Nagoya Station or Sakae Station.
For me, who live in Tokyo, "Mountain" is a far "mountain", but at this moment, I asked a friend who lives in Obu City, Aichi Prefecture, to drive me to visit "Mountain" and she accepted.
Well, the feature of this "Mountain" is the volume and the menu that changed the idea from the usual world. The volume is at a level where you can feel a strange perspective when you take a two-shot photo with the dish, and the menu that has changed the idea is a sweet spaghetti that has enough visual punch. I hear that a group of athletic students from a nearby university come and sometimes cry while eating.
What I ate was spaghetti with matcha kneaded in, topped with red bean paste, fresh cream, and fruit. The red bean paste on the top has a normal taste, but the spaghetti with matcha kneaded in it tastes just like the spaghetti with matcha kneaded in. It's not bad, but I felt strange when I ate it. It is said that the greater the gap between the visual impression and the taste of the food, the more confused people become.
It's a pain to have to order one dish per person, but if you have the opportunity to go around Nagoya, I reccomend this "mountain". Budget is around 1000-2000 yen per person.
